Dakota McLeod is well versed in Jazz, Pop, R&B, Latin and Blues among her musical and vocal talents. She’s appeared on stage nationally at home in the U.S and on stage abroad. Having bounced back earlier this year from the same vocal ailment that caused Julie Andrews to be unable to sing for some years, she took the Dame’s advice and avoided surgery at the cost of not performing for some time and has made a stellar comeback with her versatile sound and style.
McLeod said she used the quite time to regroup and reassess the important things in her life and as such has made changes to the benefit of her well-being and continued success as a musician/vocalist with her husband and business partner Ray Naccari. Married for 24 years the couple have played and sang back up for the likes of Bob Marley and appeared with Benny Golson and Shirley Stewart Farmer. She and Naccari perform consistently throughout the New York and tri-state area and appear with their band Nytehawke-The Rhythm & Soul of New York.
