New York, NY - August 6, 2010:-- Catch a Movie by the River – Free!
Friends of Hudson River Park is presenting RiverFlicks, a screening of free movies in Manhattan’s Hudson River Park. The selections feature family and grown-up movies. Shows begin at dusk, and are presented at Pier 46 and Pier 54 along the Hudson River.
On Friday, August 13, RiverFlicks for Kids, will show Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (PG). On Friday, August 20, families can enjoy the movie Annie (PG) based on the famous comic book character. Both movies can be viewed at Pier 46, which is located at Charles Street, Greenwich Village.
RiverFlicks for Grown-ups features StarTrek (PG13) on Wednesday, August 18, at Pier 54 at West 14th Street, Chelsea. All movies run from approximately 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
